Click-Through Rate (CTR)
The percentage of people who click your listing after seeing it in search results.
Click-through rate, or CTR, is the share of people who click your listing out of everyone who saw it. If your listing appeared 1,000 times and was clicked 50 times, your CTR is five percent. It is a core measure of how compelling your result is once it earns a spot in front of searchers.
CTR matters because ranking is only half the battle. Two businesses in the same position can perform very differently depending on their star rating, review count, photos, and how well their name and description match the search. A higher rating or a sharper listing pulls more clicks from the same visibility.
For owners, watching CTR alongside rankings shows whether your listing is winning the click. If you rank well but few people click, the fix is usually in what customers see, better reviews, clearer photos, and a more relevant profile, rather than in ranking higher.
