GeoGrid

A map-shaped grid of search points that shows how your business ranks from many different locations across your service area.

A GeoGrid is a way of visualizing your local rankings as a grid of points laid over a map, usually 5x5, 7x7, or larger. Instead of checking your rank from a single spot, a GeoGrid search runs the same keyword from dozens of coordinates around your business and records your position at each one. The result is a heat map: green points where you rank near the top, red points where you barely show up.

This matters because Google ranks local businesses differently depending on where the searcher is standing. You might be number one right outside your front door and invisible three miles away. A single rank check hides that reality, while a GeoGrid exposes exactly which neighborhoods you dominate and which ones you are losing to competitors.

For a local business owner, the GeoGrid is the single most honest picture of your local visibility. If the grid is green near your location but fades to red at the edges, that tells you where to focus posts, reviews, and service-area targeting to expand your reach block by block.
